On a scale from 1-10 I rate my physical well-being as a five
I rate it as a five because I am not yet where I want to be weight wise. I had
two kids my youngest who is two and my oldest who is five I am still trying to
get back to where I was before I had kids. Currently I am working on my weight
loss I attend weight watchers and soon enough I will be back to where I want to
be with my physical health. I give myself a six on my spiritual well-being because
I want to be more spiritual. I pray to god all the time and he gives me hope
and strength to get through my days. I want to be spiritual with everything
else in my life and by doing the exercises I feel more at peace with myself and
I think by continuing these exercises I will gain the level of spiritual well-being
that I want to have. My psychological wellbeing I would give an eight I think
that I am psychologically well but at times, stress and other things overcome
me and throw me off balance. I want to learn how to have control of stressful
situations at all times in order to gain optimal wellness and by engaging all
three components and working at them, I will be able to gain optimal
health. I really enjoy doing these exercises;
I find them to be beneficial to the road of optimal wellness. I think these
exercises are something that I would want to stick with forever because they
work to make me feel calmer and more peaceful and relaxed.
Hi Andrea,
ReplyDeleteThe road to wellness is a never ending one but finding the time and energy to devote to it is essential. You are doing that right now. You have two children, you're in school, and you are improving your physical health all at the same time. You cannot shake a stick at that.
Improving the physical, spiritual and psychological simutaneously gives you a greater sense of being. This does not come easy and some would argue there is not enough time in the day. Wrong. Each falls into the next and organically happens.
Best of luck to you,
Stevi Gelinas
Hi Stevi
DeleteThank you for posting. I like what you said about never having enough time in a day... I recently stopped trying to get everything that I had to do done in one day I use to stress out about all that I didnt get done. Instead I would tell myself that tomorrow is another day and that It would still be here by doing this I relived alot of stress at first it was irritating to me not to get everything done but after awhile without stressing about it, it seemed that everything began to fall into place. I had to learn that everything falls into place at sometime.

Great information. I am working on weight loss also which gives me a never-ending source of stress. I have been unable to acccomplish this and it is getting to be beyond frustrating, so I can relate to your stress. The best thing to do would be to keep doing what you're doing, pray and meditate, and you will be able to reach your goals in no time. Good luck on your journey!
ReplyDeleteHi Jacque
DeleteWeight loss can be very stressful. Instead of focusing on it and dwelling over every pound I took it more as I am changing my lifestyle and instead of focuing on what I cant have I realized that I can have a little bit of everything in moderation. When we have a dieters mind we always focus on what we cant have and this becomes such a huge problem because we want what we cant have more and thats where the over indulging occurs. If you know that everyhting is attainable and you can have everything it is less tempting that thinking that its forbidden.

Andrea,
ReplyDeleteYou have a great outlook on life. Keep up the efforts with weight loss and be patient with your success. I am very impressed with where you are at spiritually and psychologically, I would like to extend my congratulations. This course will provide you with the tools necessary from integral health success, but you are well on your way. For most people, spirituality and psychology are more difficult to achieve, you are well over the hump and much further along in the process than most. I will also add that achieved spirituality and psychological success make physical success a much easier accomplishment. Keep up the effort with handling stress, as well as the other aspects of your life, you are doing great!
